Kris Fairless RFX call March 17

Set Expectations for New Consultants by having a conversation about the “Right Stuff” that is needed for success.

Setting the right expectation for your new business partner is key. You must have a conversation at the very beginning. At my very first meeting, I will say, “Congratulations on making the best decision of your life!” Then say, “I am here to teach and train you how to do this business.” Notice I am not saying I am her to HELP them. This is a pivotal turning point. Switch your wording from HELP to TEACH. “I am there to match your efforts.” It is up to you to create success, not me. You are going to be “I am here to match your efforts.

“If you don’t succeed in this business it will be YOU that create that failure, not me. You are going to be the difference between success and failure. I can work with you, but not for you. Frankly, I can’t do it FOR you. Your job is to do whatever it takes to achieve success.”

WIT… Whatever it Takes to become successful = Self Study, School of Hard Knocks. Kris says that she has just fallen down more times than most.

Our company has all the systems in place. Work this business consistently and work daily on a consistent basis.

I will hear from a prospect, “I’m going to try this out”. I will always be quick to catch that comment and reply, “ If you try, you will always be trying. If you make a decision to be successful, the likelihood is great. “ Setting these expectations is a radical change from how I used to do this business.

I used to say, “It’s my goal to help you achieve success and we will build this together.” I now say, “My goal is to teach and train you how to do this business.” Clearly let them know that they need to build this business. You can be a resource for them, but say, “My job is to help you become independent from me as quickly as possible.? My goal is to teach and train you. I will always be there if you need my assistance. Do you agree that this is a good goal.” I try to make this interactive and to be and coaching as well. You want to aleve any fears that they are on their own. It is up to your new business partner after the training to build a business.

How long do you work with your new business partner? That depends. Once you teach them a system, they are off and running! If you find a Stallion, they get it and get it right away; they have a why and understand timing and positioning… they will want to run independently. Stop and say, YEA and do the “Happy Dance!” Some will take longer. I’m looking for coachability! If they are willing to work with me and keeping me informed, that’s who I want to work with. That’s the general rule of thumb. If you have this crazy stallion, I will need to help and train their new team as well. It’s hard to maintain an organization that is growing quickly. Some consultants are working a full time job. Match their efforts. The person going fast will get more of my time than the consultant who is going slow.

Keeping me informed of what is going on in their business; showing up for calls - that is who I want to work with. This is my general rule of thumb.

If you have stallion recruiting a lot of people they may need your help to train their new people because part of my job is to teach and train their new team too because it is hard to manage and maintain a new organization that is building quickly and partner with them closely. Most people will take their time starting this business because they have another job. But I tell them I will match their efforts .

The person building a big team faster will get more of my time and attention than the person going slower. I ask them to be coachable. This is a statement that I make and a question…Do you agree to be coachable? This is a statement I make. I tell them they have to immediately get something going so they can get a paycheck right away. Then we talk about their BBL launch and then how we will have the BBL within 10-14 days of launching and how we make the bigger paycheck by sharing this business with others.

I tell them I will do 3 way calls with them which this is on the job training and I expect them to plug in to them.

This is not a get rich quick. This is an expectation you need to let your new consultant know. There will be ups and downs while they build their business. A lot of times people come in with false expectations of becoming a millionaire overnight. They want to build a bigger paycheck but they need to know it takes time. You need to build a team of independent business owners to join you and it takes time. As a general rule it is going to take 18-24 months to become really confident and profitable. You get to know the basics you cover expenses but in most cases It usually takes 3-5 years of consistent work to become a six figure income earner or above. People at RF are doing this much more quickly. It doesn’t mean you can’t make more in a short time as many are. Don’t make false promises Finding the right people and the duplication process takes time.

Met a man who I respected and industry expert and at the very beginning and I had a conversations with him and he asked me to tell him my story.

You have no clue what you have here because if you did you wouldn’t be sleeping. And of course I wasn’t a company so rich in culture and perfect in training comes along once in a lifetime. Don’t over think it. Go out and tell everyone you know. Work as hard as you can for the next 18-24 months. Because remember I told you it takes 18-24 months to get confident and you will start making connections. In 3-5 years you can retire for life. I was 48 at the time. I can do anything for 5 years and I set off to create that 5 year and just as my friend said, in 3 years I was a 7 figure income earner and now a six figure monthly earner. I could retire but I chose not to do that.

My goal is to teach and train others to achieve their dream. Just as you build your business you have tell people many people won’t do what you see. Many of our newbies take it as personal rejection when someone says no. Coffee analogy

Sometimes your prospect doesn’t need what you are offering or timing may not be right. Or “no” may mean I don’t know enough about what you are offering. Just know that it takes someone 4-6 exposures before people see it and say yes.

Many times you may be having a down day. Not every day is not a yippy RF day. I want to set the expectations so if you aren’t calling me or showing for training or meetings or three way calls or making excuses because sometimes that happens…how would you like me to handle that? Do you want me to leave you alone. Do you want me to remind you of why you made this brilliant decision to join me in business in the first place. Let them know this is a brilliant question because it’s true. The people who join you will have some doubt as some time. Let your business partner know that this is natural to have doubts. Let them know what will happen if they don’t follow through. You are not going to chase after them. You don’t try to convince anyone that this business is not for them. You don’t have time.

After setting up my expectation I let them know what then need to do to earn their initial investment back as soon as possible. I am setting up my expectations and I talk about their BBL. I set the two dates for their BBL’s and how to earn their new IPAD. It is proven the people who earn their IPAD in our company are top earners. Bringing on two people and helping them find a new business partner with the 695 or 995 kits.

This business doesn’t seem real until they get their first check. As a top earner my first check was $12. My second $550 and now six figure monthly income but it didn’t happen overnight. Anyone can be successful in this business if you don’t always do what it takes and don’t quit. Many people will not reach their full potential because they give up before they meet their next power partner.

Be sure that you teach your new business partner how to get their first customer, how to get their first power partner, teach them how to do 3 ways, how to plug into the system, remember the goal of the ipad, training calls, hearing the business story over and over again. Teach them how to proclaim to the world about their business on linked in or FB, tell them to read the Insider Scoop. I teach them how to look for new information in Biz Dev Library of PULSE. Click on Date Added icon twice for newest documents. Attend all live events. Face to face encounters are powerful. If there are no local meetings encourage them to go to corporate events. This gives them proof of their decision attending a corporate event.

When they see top leaders they can see themselves in that position. Leaders attend all events. Lead by example. Everything in this business good or bad will duplicate. The people attend events with you the bigger your check will grow. You will find top earners always show up. Do you want to be a top earner? If you say yes then show up.

Teach them the story and the interview process. As soon as you plug your business partner into the system we already have, it is easy for them to build a business. Teach them not to reinvent the wheel. All they have to do is the daily activity.

Activity matters most. Tell the RF story daily. It doesn’t matter the outcome but to tell the

RF story and get the message out. Ask for referrals.

Setting expectations is key to this business. Make a plan review the plan. If you have been in this business for a while you may be looking at the wrong people. 4 p’s

Go for the right people with go power. They understand timing and positioning and the opportunity to be among the first.

If you don’t set the right expectations for someone and if you haven’t tried it yet it maybe because you haven’t set the right expectations.

Look for someone with an incredible work ethic; someone with a big why.

It’s great to dream big but you have to be patient anything of value takes time become a student of the industry. It takes daily consistent activity to be a success.
