If you’re interested in playing in the tug-of-war rematch at the next pep rally, come see Mrs. Morris in room 2700. The tug-of-war challenge is open to all students.

Talent Show audition forms are available on the KHS website and in room 2700.

KHS is creating a school newsletter devoted to respect concepts and ideas. We are looking for students to submit artwork, poetry, articles, photography, and other items that are related to respect and diversity. For more information, email Coach Earhart or stop by office 4400.

Girls athletics has met the challenge of Mrs. Schwab in the attendance office and has raised over $500. So Mrs. Schwab will get her hair shaved on Friday. AP Students- AP test registration is here. Make sure you register for all your AP exams before the deadline, March 13. Please see you AP teachers and the posters in the hallways for registration information. Registration fliers are available in all house offices and with your AP teachers.

Spanish Honor Society will be having a meeting this Thursday morning, January 31, at 8:45 am in LGI 4212. We will be discussing our upcoming Field Trip, so please plan to attend the Spanish Honor Society meeting Thursday morning. Check your e-mail for more information from the officers.

"The Girl's Varsity soccer team defeated the defending Region II Champions, Klein Oak, on Friday night 2 to 1. The Mustangs were led by Seniors Kara Marshall and Monica Voorhes with a goal each. Defensively freshmen Mari Gillespie and Sloane Scharold, sophomore Breezy Moore, junior Ellen Braden, and senior Symone Bennett held Klein Oak to only a couple of scoring chances.

The Mustangs play Westfield at home on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. Go Mustangs!"

"Kingwood High School Theatre would like to inform you that tickets for our spring main-stage show, The Uninvited, are now on sale in all lunches!

Play dates are on the 31st of Jan, and the 1,2, and 4th of Feb.

Please come by the box office to purchase your tickets to see this thrilling mystery. Remember Monday will be your last day to buy tickets at lunch, however tickets are also sold the nights of the shows.
