Kindred Youth Baseball Association 2018

Summer is coming and we are excited for the upcoming baseball season. We would like to provide a program that will improve the boys’ baseball skills, but also develop an understanding of the game that will help them to enjoy baseball as a player and a fan for the rest of their life. With your help, we can make this program a success and provide our local youth with an enjoyable experience that will be both fun and rewarding.

Parent Responsibilities

Participation fee. Families with three or more childrenparticipating will receive a $50 reduction in fees.

Squirts ($80)Pee Wee ($90) Rookie ($90)13 year olds ($110) Babe Ruth ($120) Legion ($140)

Each family will be assigned dates and times to work at the concession stand.

When it is your turn to work, we ask that only adults work in the concession stand, please do not send your teenage kids to work for you. Younger children should remain outside of the concession stand building for their own safety as well as allowing it to remain a productive work environment.

You will be asked to assist with fund raising events and other duties. Our two main fundraisers are Pizza Sales at

the beginning of the season and the Monday Night Football booklets we sell at the end of the summer.

A registration night has been set for March 28th from 6:15 - 8:15 pmat the Kindred Elementary School Commons where you can come in to pay the fee and sign up your child for the Squirts, Pee Wee, Rookie, 13 year old, Babe Ruth or Legion baseball programs. “Please do not show up early and expect us to be ready.” There is a lot of information that has to be collected accurately and I need all my workers in place to ensure this to happen. Many of my workers are coming from their regular jobs and can’t be there earlier, so please give us until 6:15 to get set up.

THANK YOU!

8-13 year olds will need to supply their own gray game pants. Caps will be on sale for those needing them.

Parents with a child participating in summer baseball must attend registration night or have someone else sign them up and pay the fee. It is much more difficult to try and take care of all the registration information after that first night and I need an accurate count of kids that want to play at each level. Not to mention the signatures needed on consent forms and such.

Summer baseball is set up by age and has nothing to do with what grade the players are in at school. These ages are set by the state and national programs and are based on the player’s age on May 1st 2018. Any deviation from that will be determined strictly by theadministrationand coaching staff and changes will be based on numbers and need only. We are accepting 7 year olds this year in our squirts program. But our coaches do reserve the right to have a 7 year old go back to t-ball if for some reason he is not ready for this level. This would mainly be a safety concern.

Squirts (age 7-8), Peewee (age 9-10), Rookie (age 11-12), 13 year olds (13)

Babe Ruth (age 14-15), Legion (age 16-19)

Kindred Youth Baseball once again will have its website up and running!

At this time you can download registration and consent forms from our website and fill them out prior to coming to registration night.

During the season will have information about game schedules, important notices, concession schedules, tournament info, fundraising information and photos.
