IMPORTANT GUIDELINES - KG

·  Kindly learn to button and unbutton the dress.

·  Learn to layout the napkin on the table and how to fold it nicely after use.

·  Learn to open and close the bag, water bottle, lunch box etc.

·  We are sending back some of the books and notebooks along with the child. Kindly keep them safely at home and send them back after vacation.

·  Water the plants which you have at home together with your family members on every Sunday.

·  Help your parents in cleaning the car/ scooter/ bike and in laying down the table for lunch time/ dinner time.

·  Tell your parents or grandparents to narrate good pictorial bed-time stories to you.

·  After playing with your toys, learn to keep them back at the proper place.

·  Revise the following for class assessment after vacation :

ü  Capital Alphabet (A-Z).

ü  Small Alphabet (a-z).

ü  Phonetic Sounds.

ü  Hindi Letters (Swar).

ü  Numbers (1-20).

ü  Missing numbers (1-20).

ü  Backward Numbers (10-1).

ü  General Conversation and E.V.S. answers of the questions given in the April-May Syllabus ( Answers to be learnt in complete sentences).

ü  Do the given pages in the workbooks mentioned below :

Ø  ENGLISH (Learn To Write) – Page number 9,10,11 and 12.

Ø  HINDI (Aksharmala) - Page number 1 to 12 and learn the vocabulary words given on the respective pages.

Ø  MATHEMATICS – Page number 44 to 50.

SUMMER VACATION ASSIGNMENT

KG - 2017-2018

Summer vacation is the time to relax with your kids at home and spend some quality time with them. With this view, home task has been designed which is colorful, innovative, educational and at the same time, enjoyable.

THEME

SEASONS – A NATURAL PHENOMENON

Children are curious by nature and are always ready to explore and learn. In order to evoke a sense of wonder in the tiny tots about the changing seasons, home task has been designed around the theme of SEASONS- A Natural Phenomenon.

·  Parents are requested to help their child at home for finishing the task given.

·  Please mention the name and class of your child at the back side of all the items prepared.

LET’S BE CREATIVE AND SHOW OUR SKILLS

1.  SUMMER SEASON

Make ‘SUN’ with paper folding and an old CD. /

OR

Make a decorative ice cream. /

2.  WINTER SEASON

Make creative ‘Mittens’ (you may use paper, cloth, wool or decorative material). /

OR

Make a cutout of a woolen cap and paste wool scrapings on it. /

3.  RAINY SEASON

Make a rainy season wall hanging. /

OR

Make an umbrella using half or full paper plate (big size) and decorate it. / /

4.SPRING SEASON

Make a big size cutout of a flower/ butterfly (using glitter sheets, sparkle dust, water colors, mirrors or any other decorative material). /

5.SEASONS TREE

Prepare a season tree depicting:

·  Winter season
·  Rainy season
·  Spring season /
