Class Work

*Reading– We are beginning a new unit about Plants. Students will be learning about the short I sound this week like in pig. Students took a unit 3 assessment the week before fall break if you have any questions about their results please let me know. Students will read Look at Nan! on Thursday.

This Weeks Happenings in

Kindergarten

Monday– My Cards are due (even if you are not ordering please return cards)

Tuesday- Math Homework; Wear Red for Red Ribbon Week

Wednesday- Library Day; Show and Tell- something that begins with the short I sound like in igloo or contains the short I sound like in pig;

Thursday- Read “ Look at Nan”; Recite Address

Friday- Gym; Reformation Party

Snacks and Drinks

Matthew Sitterding will have snacks this week and will be the star of the week. Please send in pictures.

Emma Sparks will have snacks next week and will be the star of the week.

News

Students do not need to return their blankets. We are now just having quiet reading time instead of rest time.

Our Reformation Party and Costume Parade will be on Friday, October 30. Students are asked dress as a nursery rhyme character or Bible story character. Students are asked to bring their costumes in their backpack and they will change before the costume parade at 2:00 that day. Those bringing things for the party after the costume parade include: Sweet Treat-Tyler Tormoehlen; Salty/Healthy Treat- Naomi McKinley; Drinks-Silas Brown; Napkins/Plates-Dawson Branaman, Craft or Game- Tyler Tormoehlen. If you are unable to bring the above please let me know. Thank you!

Please continue working on tying shoes at home!

We will begin working on students memorizing their address. They will recite their address to me on Thursday, October 29.

Just a reminder we do not have school Monday, October 19, to Friday, October 23, for fall break. Classes will resume on Monday, October 26.
