LISTENING- Reading of the poem by the teacher.

Drilling of the new words by the teacher.

Gist of the story by the teacher.

SPEAKING—Make meaningful sentences from the jumbled words.

Reading of the lesson ,first silent reading then loud reading with proper pronunciation and expression.

Use new words in sentences.

Dramatization of the lesson [using sentence cards or verbally].

Role play ,usingmasks.

Conversation between two students in the form of Q.Ans.

READING-Comprehension of the lesson[each paragraph].

Children to read stories from Panchtantra.

WRITING-Framing of question using ‘What’,’When’,’How’.

Use appropriate preposition to complete the sentences.

Write ‘PROVERBS’. Know their meaning and use them in sentences.

Write composition ‘Importance of trees’.

Identify and name the trees growing in your surroundings.

Write composition ‘My Favourite Game’.

Grammar –Write full form –we’ve we’ll, I’m etc.

Make question using ‘How’.

Jumbled words , word maze , dictation ,choose the correct spelling and complete the words .PROJECT

Collect the names of different flavours and brand of ice-cream.

Use above information to make models of different ice-creams and set up an ice-cream corner in the class.
