Ken Stimpson School Choir: Forthcoming Performances/events
Firstly, for those of you that performed over the last term a huge thank you for taking the time to support the choir, as am aware we have had quite a full timetable this term. Following this term and lastacademic year’s successful performances, the choir are now in large demand and I am receiving regular enquiries from all over the city.
The following events will be happening over the next 4 weeks:-
DATE / DETAILS / TIMEMonday 24th April / A workshop with Em Whitfield-Brooks for Choir and Acapella group happening at KSCS (5L23) (please see Facebook page link for further details on Em Whitfield-Brooks.) / 10am-12 noon.
Tuesday 25th April / CAMBRIDGE SUITE, PETERBOROUGH ARENA. Choir and Acapella performance to open the Peterborough Learning Partnership ‘Festival of learning’ to around 500-800 educationalists. / If you are being dropped off by parents then please be at the event at 8.15am. If you are leaving from school on our minibusthen we depart at 7.45am.
These are the dates that I am aware of at the moment for this term, but there are others planned so we will write to you as soon as they are confirmed.
For all events, we would request that the purple ‘choir t-shirts’ are worn for all performances along with the usual black trousers/skirts and black ‘pump-style’ shoes. There is also an option for a ‘choir cardigan’ in black with the choir logo to place over the polo shirt. These are priced at £18.00 each and are optional should you like one. These are produced to order for Chroma Sports and available via the School Shop.
In all of these events I will be available and present with the members. So I can finalise arrangements and confirm with these event organisers,I would be extremely grateful if you could complete the attached reply slip and return it to me at the school as soon as possible but no later than Wednesday 5th April. Should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me as am aware that this is a quick turnaround.
