APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

+ Full tuition, travel expenses (one return ticket), room and board, stipend, book and travel/internship allowance for the academic year beginning in August 2015. / + Min. 4.2 cumulative average for all completed courses. Official copies of transcripts in Hungarian with an English translation (or copies of transcripts in English, if issued officially).
+ At least four semesters completed at SZTE, ELTE, BME or BCEon departure to USA.
+ Students must be enrolled at SZTE, ELTE, BMEor BCE on departure to USA.Seniors are eligible if they have not completed their state examination on departure to USA.
+ Scholarship open to students from the SZTE Arts, Sciences, and Economics Faculties, the ELTE Arts, Social Sciences, Psychology and Teacher Training Faculties, the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, and BCE. / + The applicant has not attended high school or college/university in the USA or any other English-speaking country for more than one academic year in total. The applicant has not attended high school or college/university in the USA or any other English-speaking country in the last two years (as of date of application).
+ Students will attend Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, or Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut.
+ Fields of study in USA: the liberal arts curriculum, including History, English, Political Science, Women’s Studies, History of Art and Architecture, American Studies, Literature, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology and Mathematics / + Minimum TOEFL score of 100 (internet-based), 250 (computer-based), or 600 (paper-based).
+ The Scholarship program offers an opportunity to take a language exam at a discounted price for those who do not have valid TOEFL scores. Applicants have to indicate their intention to take the exam on the application form.
+ Two recommendations from student’s teachers (hard copy in sealed envelope).
+ Completed application in hard copy and scanned/electronic copy, including two essays.
