CSA subscriptions are non-refundable. Please contact us immediately with any questions or concerns.
If I cannot pick my installment at the location I have indicated above, I am to notify the farm at least 48 hours in advance to make arrangements for a different drop off location or to pick up at the farmwithin 14 days of my original intended drop off date. I understand that failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that month’s installment.
Furthermore, I understand that if I miss the intended delivery I will be assessed a $35.00 fee to cover the cost of the dry ice, transportation, unloading/reloading. (There is no charge if the missed CSA is picked up at the farm.)

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a great way to enjoy a variety of grass-fed meats! Each monthly installment is 20-22 pounds of meatwith a handmade bath and body product. As always, our meat is delivered frozen with each cut individually wrapped and labeled. The packaging will allow it to stay in the freezer for at least a year, so don’t worry if you don’t think you can gobble up the full installment before you receive the next one.
This is a true CSA; each month you will receive a share of what has been harvested which can include some or all the various meats. Any of the retail cuts (except organ meats) on our web site can be in the CSA. Just like a vegetable CSA, you are buying a share of the farm for a season, so you do not get to pick and choose what you get with any particular pick up, BUT you may add a retail order to any installment without paying a delivery fee.
A FULL SHARE CSA is one installment (20-22 pounds) each month May -October (6 installments total). A HALF SHARE CSA is an installment every other month (May, July, September), 3 installments total.
Here are the CSAs offered for Summer 2018 (May-October)
Full Variety CSA: Each installment (20-22 pounds) will usually include a whole chicken, 1-3 packages of chicken retail cuts (breasts, thighs, legs, etc.), a beef roast and/or pork roast, a package of pork chops, a package of beef steaks, 3 pounds ground beef, 2 pounds’ sausage (breakfast and/or specialty), plus other cuts (see below!).
Three Meat CSA: Each installment (20-22 pounds) will usually include 2 whole chickens, a beef or pork roast, a package of pork chops, 4 pounds ground beef, 1-pound sausage (breakfast and/or specialty), plus other cuts (see below!).
Pork Free CSA: Each installment (20-22 pounds) will usually include 2 whole chickens, a beef roast, 4 pounds ground beef, 1-pound beef sausage (breakfast), plus other cuts (see below!).
Depending upon what we have processed ANY of the CSAs may contain beef stew meat, beef steaks, cube steak, beef breakfast sausage and ground turkey.
During the CSA season, the Full Variety and Three Meat may contain: cubed pork, pork cutlets, ham steaks, uncured bacon, rendered lard and heritage cured bacon.
We offer 3 delivery locations:
Franklin Farmers Market: 230 Franklin Rd, Franklin -Saturday’s
Donelson: NEW LOCATION* 2720 Old Lebanon Rd. (Parking Lot area at Homegrown Taproom), Nashville – Friday’s
Richland Park: 4711 Charlotte Pike, Nashville – Saturday’s
You can send anyone to pick up your installment for you! They will simply sign their name on the sign in sheet.
If you have a conflict and cannot meet at the drop off location, there are 2 options: 1) Notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your regular scheduled pick up and arrange to meet us on a different date or at one of the other markets within 2 weeks or 2) Come to the farm to pick up.
IMPORTANT!! If you cannot pick your CSA as scheduled, and you do not arrange for pick up within the 14 days, it will result in forfeiture of that month’s installment.
Missed/forgotten pick-ups, substantially increase our overhead; instead of passing that cost along to all subscribers, there is a charge if you miss your intended delivery. You will be assessed a $35.00 fee to cover the cost of the dry ice, transportation, unloading/reloading. This does NOT apply if you notified us in advance and changed your date/location or you schedule to pick up at farm! Only to "No Shows"
