KCW LPC Action Points- 3rd November 2014

Dissemination Points
1 / Contract Monitoring (CPAF)
NHSE have now reviewed all the CPAF submissions that were sent by contractors last November. They have/are writing to contractors where an action plan is required following responses submitted.
Should you receive a letter from NHSE requesting an action plan, you should check your original submission for;
- any responses that were left blank
-check answers that have been answered ‘no’- to ensure that there have been no mistakes
in order to complete your action plan.
Please ensure that you submit your action plans by the required deadline as stated on your letter from NHSE.
2 / KCW LPC website
To keep up to date with whats going on with pharmacy in Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, you can access the LPC website;
http://psnc.org.uk/kensington-chelsea-and-westminster-lpc/
The website includes details of;

-Meeting dates
-London vaccination service- updates and briefings
-Useful resources

3 / PNA
You should all have received an email from the LPC regarding responding to the PNA consultation for Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.
We urge every single contractor to respond to this consultation.
Remember, all market entry decisions (determining new contract applications and movement of existing ones) are based on the PNA. And decisions on future commissioning will also be based on these documents.
4 / Vaccination service
Pharmacies in Central London CCG (Westminster) – are performing 8th / 32 CCG geographies
Pharmacies in West London CCG (Kensington & Chelsea and Queens Park)- are performing 18th / 32 CCGs
Pharmacies are performing well, in particular with diabetic patients and patients with chronic respiratory disease. However, we need to do just as well and focus on;
·  Pregnant women
·  Carers
Please let your cell structure lead know if there are any issues/ concerns with delivering the service.
Remember, the service level agreement states that all pharmacies must achieve 20 flu vaccinations and 5 PPV vaccinations.
If you need any flu vaccines- please contact your LPC and we can support you in obtaining further supplies.
5 / Pan London Emergency Supply Service
Look out for information (via email) about a new pharmacy service due to be commissioned imminently.
Details of expressions of interest will be emailed out soon.
6 / EPS
You will have received notification from the LPC regarding surgeries in Central London and West London CCGs that are planning to go live over the next few months. This notification included a ‘FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS’ document.
You should ensure that;
·  you are business ready for EPSr2,
·  you are aware of any potential pitfalls (e.g. bundle switching, claiming) so that you have plans in place to avoid any loss in renumeration
Your systems supplier should be able to help you with this.
