Kanpa International Sales is a major processor and exporters of frozen seafood, fish meal, fish maws, shark fins and animal bone products. Kanpa International Sales, a partnership firm was founded by two brothers namely Mr. Pyarali Kanji and Mr. Abdul Rehman Kanji in 1974.

Kanpa maintains high hygiene while handling of fresh and processed fishery products at all stages of receiving, processing, packing, storage and shipment. The raw material received is by far one the finest, cleanest seafood available because of high inspection criteria which is followed at receiving points.

The company has an annual turnover of more than US$ 17.0 million. The newly erected most modernize seafood processing plant is the key feature of this company. It is worth mentioning that the machinery for this processing plant has been imported from Grasso International Netherlands and the insulated panels have imported from Isocab – Belgium. The state of the art Microbiology Lab is yet another key feature where regular test carried out to monitor high hygiene during the various stages of processing. The new plant will be helpful in entering new markets in different part of the world with new value added items.

The company was approved by Marine Fisheries Department, which is the governing body for the seafood industry, for EU Commission export in 1999. The company follows the HACCP standards for their day to day sanitation needs. The company is also undergoing for ISO 9002 certification.

Kanpa International Sales consist of four departments naming, Frozen Section, Fish Maws / Shark Fins Section, Fish Meal Section, and Animal Bone Sections. The varieties of products which are handled by different departments are as follows:

Frozen Section

The frozen section includes products in three divisions: frozen fish, frozen shrimps and frozen lobster.

Frozen Fish:The products include: Ribbon Fish Whole Round, Ribbon Fish Headless Finless, Cuttle Fish Whole Round, Cuttle Fish Fillets, Cuttle Fish Whole Clean, Cuttle Fish Wings, Cuttle Fish Tentacals, Sillago Fish, Whole Round, Tongue Sole, Round Sole, Silver White Croaker, Tiger Tooth Croaker, Big Eye Illisha, Indian Mackeral, Red Sea Bream, Eel Fish Whole Round, Red Snapper, Black Pomfret, Silver White Pomfret, Squid Whole, Squid Whole Clean, Squid Tube, Squid Tentacals, Reef Cod, Reef Cod Fillets, Corvina Whole, Corvina Fillets, Baby Ghole, Red Banded Grouper, Top Shell, and Crabs.

Frozen Shrimps:The product include: White Headless Shellon, Flower Tiger Headless Shellon, Pink/Brown Headless Shellon, PUD, and PND/Tailon.

Frozen Lobster:the products include: Whole Cooker Lobster, Whole Raw Lobster, and Rock Lobster Tail.

Fish Meal Section

The products include Steamed Dry Crushed Fish, Steamed Dry Fish Meal, Fish Waste, Crab Shell Meal & Prawn Shell Meal.

Fish Maws / Shark Fins Section

The products line includes Frozen Ghole Fishmaws, Dried assorted Shark Fins, Dried Assorted Fish Maws.

Animal Bone Section

The products line includes Steamed Bone Grist / Meal, Crushed Hooves, Steamed Horn & Hoof Grist / Meal, and Sinews Grist / Meal.
