Junior High Service Hour Opportunities
School
· Read at school Mass
· Sing in school choir (you may only use 6 hours for this)
· Altar serve at school Mass, family Mass or in your parish (6 hours)
· Participate in the Living Stations during Lent (2 hours)
· Work at the concession stand during Friday night bingo or at SBS basketball games
· Work at the uniform exchange
· Help serve at the Santa Breakfast in December
Church
· Read at Mass in your parish
· Altar serve at Mass in your parish (you may only use 6 hours for this)
· Help with the offertory collection
· Contact your parish office and offer to stuff bulletins, help with planting, weeding, or cleaning
· Help assemble Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter food baskets for the St. Vincent de Paul Society
· Help out at the Easter children’s party at the Mount Carmel Society the Sunday before Easter 9-1pm
Community
· Work at Enfield Food Shelf (Tues/Wed in the summer, Thursday afternoon during the school year)
· Loaves & Fishes
· Volunteer at St. Joseph Residence
· Help maintain the Community Garden at the Enfield Senior Center
· Help out at the Enfield Adult Day Center by assisting the elderly with arts and crafts, Bingo and cards. Monday-Friday 3-4pm. (anytime 8-4pm during the summer or school vacations)
