Course Objectives / Percentage
1.  To help students cope with medical reading of all kinds. / 20 %
2.  To improve students’ communicative skills in general. / 50 %
3.  To improve students’ listening and reading skills in relation to patient-doctor interviews. / 30 %
Teaching & Learning Methods
Teacher and students go through the four different types of activities in the book: Task, Language focus, Practice and Role-play. Special attention is paid to practice the interviews in the tapescripts in order to improve the students’ aural-oral skills.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to
1.  Students are able to use English in communication in relation to patient-
doctor interviews.
2. Students should be able to record and interpret information on medical forms and documents.
