This series is governed by the 2005-2008 ISAF Racing Rules, the prescriptions of the USSA, the Standing HDA Sailing Instructions of the YRA of San Francisco Bay and the 2005 Sailing Instructions of the InterClub Racing Association.

The series is open to spinnaker and non-spinnaker monohull and qualified multihull yachts of 20 feet LOA or greater. All yachts must have a Northern California or BAMA PHRF certificate. The Joint InterClub Race Committee will assign a non-contestable rating to boats without rating certificates. Scoring will be by the low point system with one throw-out for the series. Prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries in each class. Protests will be heard through mediation first. If the issue is still unresolved, a formal protest may be pursued.
