Join AME in “America’s Heartland of Lean” for the
2011 Regional Conference, “Race to Toyota Country”
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.—July 11, 2011—The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), the premier not-for-profit organization dedicated to the journey of continuous improvement and enterprise excellence, will host a regional conference August 16-18 in Lexington, KY.
“Lexington 2011 will mirror the benefits of the AME Annual Excellence Inside International Conference, offering attendees an even more intimate environment to engage in workshops, explore Lean facilities and gain insights from keynote speakers,” says William Kraus, Conference Chair and President of AME’s Southeastern Region. “We are proud to provide this opportunity to manufacturing professionals looking to hear success stories in America’s Heartland of Lean.”
Three industry-leading keynote speakers will offer their insights at the regional conference:
· George Koenigsaecker: Author of Leading the Lean Enterprise Transformation and world-renowned Lean expert
· Michele Raglin: General Manager of Toyota’s Strategic Planning Group
· Harry Moser: Founder of the Reshoring Initiative
Six leading experts will present at workshops focused on Lean accounting, Training Within Industry, Just-in-Time supply chain flow and more. The workshops are designed so all professionals—on any level of their journey to enterprise excellence—will realize success.
