WEEKEND COURSE 23rd – 25th March 2018
We have again booked the Esplanade Hotel, Scarborough. It is situated on the cliff tops of the South Bay, and closer to the town. We have sole use of the ballroom, but are limited number-wise because of the size of the dancing area – so BOOK EARLY to avoid disappointment!
All rooms are en-suite – double, twin, single; (single rooms are in short supply – so please get in touch with friends and arrange to share)
The weekend will begin with dinner on Friday evening followed by a social dance. Classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings will form the working part of the course, which is suitable for more experienced dancers, with a dance on Saturday evening. Saturday afternoon will be free. Our teacher will be John Wilkinson who has taught all over the world and been director of Summer School. He will be partnered by our now resident musician George Meikle, and his wonderful music. We look forward to a most constructive and enjoyable weekend.
The course is open to experienced dancers, but children under 16 cannot be admitted. A deposit of £50 secures your place, and should be submitted by 1st September, when we have to forward it to the hotel. The balance should be paid by 1st February 2018. The cost will be £130.
