00 49S-41 34W. Voyage: Bombay and Cape Town for Trinidad with rubber, jute, hemp and general.

She left New York for Cape Town and Sydney (Australia) to be fitted for troopship service.
10/2/1942: In a collision with escorting cruiser HMS Curacoa, which was zig-zagging in the Irish Sea. The cruiser
lost her stern and sank with a loss of 338 lives. The Queen proceeded to port with bow damage.
