John 8:3 (NASB) And the scribes and the Pharisees brought^ a woman caught in adultery, and having set her in the midst,

John 8:4 (NASB) they said^ to Him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in adultery, in the very act.

John 8:5 (NASB) "Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?"

John 8:6 (NASB) And they were saying this, testing Him, in order that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down, and with His finger wrote on the ground.

John 8:7 (NASB) But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

John 8:8 (NASB) And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

John 8:9 (NASB) And when they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst.

John 8:10 (NASB) And straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?"

John 8:11 (NASB) And she said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.">

Mark 8:11 (NASB) And the Pharisees came out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, to test Him.

Mark 8:12 (NASB) And sighing deeply in His spirit, He said^, "Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation."

Mark 8:13 (NASB) And leaving them, He again embarked and went away to the other side.

Luke 10:25 (NASB) And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and put Him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

Luke 10:26 (NASB) And He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?"

Luke 10:27 (NASB) And he answered and said, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

Luke 10:28 (NASB) And He said to him, "You have answered correctly; DO THIS, AND YOU WILL LIVE."

Luke 11:16 (NASB) And others, to test Him, were demanding of Him a sign from heaven.

Luke 11:17 (NASB) But He knew their thoughts, and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls.

Luke 11:18 (NASB) "And if Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

John 6:5 (NASB) Jesus therefore lifting up His eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to Him, said^ to Philip, "Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?"

John 6:6 (NASB) And this He was saying to test him; for He Himself knew what He was intending to do.

John 6:7 (NASB) Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, for everyone to receive a little."

John 6:8 (NASB) One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said^ to Him,

John 6:9 (NASB) "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?"

Mat 22:41 (NASB) Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,

Mat 22:42 (NASB) saying, "What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?" They said^ to Him, "The son of David."

Mat 22:43 (NASB) He said^ to them, "Then how does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying,

Mat 22:44 (NASB) 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT THINE ENEMIES BENEATH THY FEET"'?

Mat 22:45 (NASB) "If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his son?"

Mat 22:46 (NASB) And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him another question.

Mat 16:1 (NASB) And the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Him asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.

Mat 16:2 (NASB) But He answered and said to them, "When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.'

Mat 19:3 (NASB) And some Pharisees came to Him, testing Him, and saying, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any cause at all?"

Mat 19:4 (NASB) And He answered and said, "Have you not read, that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,

Mat 19:5 (NASB) and said, 'FOR THIS CAUSE A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, AND SHALL CLEAVE TO HIS WIFE; AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH'?

Mat 19:6 (NASB) "Consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

Mat 19:7 (NASB) They said^ to Him, "Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY?"

Mat 19:8 (NASB) He said^ to them, "Because of your hardness of heart, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way.

Mat 19:9 (NASB) "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."

Mat 19:10 (NASB) The disciples said^ to Him, "If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry."

Mat 22:15 (NASB) Then the Pharisees went and counseled together how they might trap Him in what He said.

Mat 22:17 (NASB) "Tell us therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to give a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?"

Mat 22:18 (NASB) But Jesus perceived their malice, and said, "Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites?

Mat 22:19 (NASB) "Show Me the coin used for the poll-tax." And they brought Him a denarius.

Mat 22:20 (NASB) And He said^ to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?"

Mat 22:21 (NASB) They said^ to Him, "Caesar's." Then He said^ to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

Mat 22:22 (NASB) And hearing this, they marveled, and leaving Him, they went away.

Mat 22:35 (NASB) And one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,

Mat 22:36 (NASB) "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"

Mat 22:37 (NASB) And He said to him, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
