In case you are not familiar with John 3:16Mission we would like to give you some information about ourselves. John 3:16Mission, is a nonprofit, entirely faith-based organization that works with Tulsa's homeless and at-risk population. Founded in 1952, the Mission has served thousands of men, women and children through the decades, showing them the way to a better life through Jesus Christ.
The Family and YouthCenter provides a range of programming, educational, spiritual and recreational support to at-risk children and families in Tulsa's inner-city community. We offer grocery baskets, clothing and limited monetary aid to help pay utility bills for families facing an immediate crisis. During the summer months the Family and YouthCenter works with the children and youth in our community to provide a safe place to go during the day while there is no school.
The youth program during the summer consists of a variety of recreational activities, Bible studies, outreach events and camp. The children attend Summer KIDS Camp which encompasses a literacy program, character development training and Bible studies and activities. Summer KIDS Camp is designed to help children grades K-4 to develop and increase their relationships with Christ alongside meeting and exceeding society’s academic standards.
The John 3:16 Mission Family and Youth Center has several different positions available (youth internship,Summer KIDS Camp internships and teaching positions) for the summer of 2018. All teaching positions will begin May 29, 2018 and will be finished no later than July 28,2018.
