God’s Love

John 3:16 &17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

1 Th 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1 Pet 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

God’s Love Is Unconditional

Yes, God loved you and He still does love you, just as He loves me. God's love is never ending. His love was the same yesterday, today and forever.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:5 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God.

1 John 4:16-18 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love 1 John 4:19 We love Him, because He first loved us.

The Word tells us that God dwells in us, so that means that His love is in us also, because God is love. You cannot separate the two.

That shows me that because His love is in me, that I cannot hate anyone. I will verify this statement through God's Word.

1 John 4:20&21 If a man say , I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God that he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from Him, that he who loveth God loveth his brother also.

The scripture is not just talking about our natural brother, it is speaking about our brothers and sisters in Christ. This means all races. God said that all His Word is true.

If we do not love our brothers and sisters in Christ ( of all races), the Word says that the love of God is not in you. That is a powerful statement, but the Word says it. We cannot just agree with some of God's Word. If we do not agree we are commanded to do it anyway, because we are God's Children. All His Word is true.

1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God: And everyone that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him.

1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments..

Here are some guidelines that Jesus gave us about love

Matthew 5:43&44 we have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you:

Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

As you read the above scripture you will see that loving one another is a commandment. If you say you love God, and do not love one another, you are not obeying that commandment. God loves family. He created us to be family, but His heart weeps when He sees His children not walking in love toward one another. He also says in the Word that if you cannot love your brothers and sisters that you see, how can you love Him that you do not see.

You might say, I tell my brothers and sisters in Christ that I love them, but love is not just words it is an action.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my Words: And My father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 15:10-14 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is My commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

In verse 13,remember that no one took Jesus' life; He laid it down for you and I, because He loved us so much and He loved the Father and wanted to be obedient, even to the cross.

I believe that verse 13 applies to us, but not by the same death. The death that we should die is dying to self when others are in need. Put their need ahead of ours. An Example) if a young lady came to you and had small children with her and said they were hungry, but you only had food for dinner that night and that was all. What would you do? Would you lay your life down and give them your last meal in the house or cupboards?
There are many scriptures in the Bible that speaks of the promises of God when we love Him and love others. The Bible is true and if we do as the Word says, we can live a wonderfully blessed life.

Psalm 91:14-16 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

The same way our natural father disciplines us, our heavenly Father does also. He wants the best for us in every area of our life, just as our natural father does. Sometimes if we seem to be getting off track and going in the wrong direction, we need to be corrected. God does that because He loves us so much. Even if we have taken the wrong direction, God loves us unconditionally and forgives us. He puts us in the right direction, if we listen to Him. He will never force anything on you, He gives you a choice. There is no other love greater than God's love. Even our natural father cannot love us in the way God does. Even if we make the wrong choice, he does not condemn us, or stop caring about us. He waits patiently on us to turn around. He waits with His arms open.

In my life, I have made many mistakes as I served the world and not God. Even though I was saved, I had not committed to making Jesus the Lord of my life. But Jesus never forsook me, because He loved me too much. He always knew I would come around. He knew my heart, and that I loved Him. He had faith in me, knowing that I would serve Him and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ until the end. He never gave up on me and He will never give up on you. What an awesome God He is. I love Him so. He is my life.

Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loveth He correcteth; even as a father does the son in whom he delighted.

Isaiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion for you.

Romans 12:9&10 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Romans 13:9&10 The commandments," Do not commit adultery," Do not murder," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule. "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Faith, Hope and Love (charity) but the greatest of these is Love.

1 Corinthians Chapter 13 speaks of the importance of love and describes agape love. As you read these scriptures, search your heart. Meditate on these scriptures until they are in your spirit.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love) it profiteth me nothing. Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind; charity (love) envieth not; charity (love) vaunteth (boast) not itself, is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity (love) never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. And now abideth faith, hope and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love).

In the above scriptures, you can see that everything will either cease or vanish. One of the most important things is that Love never fails and it certainly will not vanish. Praise God and to Him be the glory.

The Godhead has loved us beyond measuring since before the creation. We were created to become the loving family of God.

Jesus died to enable us to be received into the beloved. The greatest and most unfair and unjust action possible is to reject, ignore or just not have time for loving and fellowshipping in and with the Father, our creator, Jesus the son our redeemer and the Holy Spirit, our helper and comforter. (John 14:23 KJV), Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my father will love him and we will come unto him, and make our abode.Jesus says, "If a person loves me he will consistently obey me."
