Reports to: Director of Marketing and Outreach

A collaborative leader with expertise in digital storytelling, social media, SEO, and metric analysis.

The Social Media and Creative Content Manager creates, develops and executes social media and digital marketing strategies to attract and engage guests, increase sales, raise brand awareness, and grow community engagement in a measurable way. This position is both the creative force and the administrator of the brand's social media communities and consumer- facing social channels. This position interprets integrated marketing communications, brand-building messages, corporate communications, and issues management in the brand's voice across social media networks.

  • Develops, conceptualizes, builds, executes, and manages social media and digital marketing strategies, goals, and objectives.
  • Drives social media initiatives and content across social channels.
  • Strategizes and executes programs to grow and engage audiences and followers.
  • Implements, monitors, and measures social media campaigns to support broader marketing initiatives.
  • Develops brand awareness and generates in-bound traffic by developing and designing a strong content strategy.
  • Explores and identifies emerging social networks, platforms, and new ways to engage and reach targeted guests/audiences.
  • Stays current and assesses industry and social media trends, tools, new platforms, innovations, and best practices.

Additional Potential Position Goals –

  • Increase social media presence and engagement.
  • Capture content to utilize in other digital frameworks (email correspondence, newsletter, online campaigns, website, and an eventual digital course.
  • Design and/or oversight of Onsite collateral including, but not limited to, Website, Fliers, Brochure, Other Print Materials.
  • Support Audio Visual Needs and Manage Equipment Usage.

Qualifications:

4 years of design experience with a focus on video creation and a competence of design

4 years of social engagement with a proven track record for growing an audience

High school education with college level training preferred

Computer and superior organization skills

PR and client service skills

Excellent communication skills

Self-starter, highly self-motivated

12 Step/recovery/counseling knowledge helpful

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

Maintains high professional standards and has an attitude of excellent customer service

Willingness to attend on Onsite program

Overview of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate both in obtaining CARF accreditation and maintaining CARF accreditation by assisting in all requests in a timely manner including training and being aware of and adhering to Policies and Procedures.

  • Facilitate problem solving and provide crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Be aware of and follow proper policy in regard to building safety.
  • Perform proper protocol in relation to emergency situations.

Working Environment

  • Indoors (66% to 100% of the time); frequently outdoors, all conditions (33% to 66% of the time).
  • Occasional exposure to caustics, solvents, oils, fumes, flammables, pesticides, etc. (less than 10%).
  • Physical requirements: lifting items 25 lbs to 50 lbs (less than 20%); frequent lifting less than 20 lbs (33% to 66% of the time).
  • Both sitting and standing for long durations will be required frequently (66% to 100% of the time).
  • Vision requirements: constant need (66% to 100% of the time) to complete forms, read and review reports, wide variety of correspondence, and view the computer screen. Frequent need to see small detail on computer screens. Frequent need (33% to 66% of the time) to see things clearly beyond arm's reach (locating supplies in storage).
  • Hearing requirements: constant need (66% to 100% of the time) to communicate over telephone and in person with participants, office staff, and referents.
  • Speaking requirements: constant need (66% to 100% of the time) to communicate over telephone and in person.

Direct observation daily, files, records and charts audited periodically, staff meetings weekly, relations with co-workers, participants and consultant staff observed, 90 day formal performance review and annual.
