Marketing, Consumer & Professional Education Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Marketing, Consumer & Professional EducationManager (MCPEM) focuses on support for NOF’s programs of awareness, education and advocacy. The MCPEMdevelops prospect/mailing lists and drafts proposals and letters for NOF’s corporate support and professional membership outreach. The MCPEM managesadministration for the Corporate Advisory Roundtable (CAR) and supports marketing efforts for the Interdisciplinary Symposium on Osteoporosis (ISO). The MCPEM manages NOF’s Professional Membership acquisition and renewals as well member support and helps manage NOF’s online Professional Learning Center and assists with database management. The MCPEM manages the Paget Foundation website and staffs the BOT’s Paget committee. The MCPEM works collaboratively with the Development and Education teams, other NOF staffand the Board of Trustees to achieve goals related tomarketing, development, consumer and professional education, and professional membership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Researches and identifies corporate partners for membership in NOF’s Corporate Advisory Roundtable (CAR);
  • Manages administration and logistics for CAR meetings and conference calls as well as activities of the Working Groups;
  • Manages acquisitions and renewals for NOF Professional Membership and provides member support
  • Assists with database management for NOF’s professional membership;
  • Drafts corporate marketing materials and oversees printing and distribution;
  • Coordinates materials and information to be posted online for consumer education;
  • Drafts correspondence and helps update website as needed;
  • Manages social media posting and responses;
  • Provides phone support in response to consumer questions and fulfills materials requests;
  • Manages NOF Annual Conference media platforms including website and conference mobile app
  • Manages NOF’s Paget Website and responds to requests for educational materials from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Supports the BOT Paget Committee and coordinates committee meetings
  • Helps to update NOF’s online Professional Learning Center;
  • Handles special projects as assigned, such as communications support for the National Bone Health Alliance (NBHA).

EDUCATION: Minimum of Bachelors Degree required.

EXPERIENCE:Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 2-5 years of administrative experience in an office environment, preferably with a national organization.

  • Excellent written, organizational, communication and customer service skills are required
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high attention to follow through and have the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Resourcefulness and creativity valued
  • Experience in Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively with senior staff, co-workers, donors, volunteers, vendors and the general public
  • Willingness to travel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office environment and involves everyday risks or discomforts which requires normal safety precautions when operating equipment and performing the work. Work is essentially sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, carrying items under 25 pounds such as books, papers, small parcels, etc.
