Job Purpose/Summary

To manage a team of Regular Giving Fundraisers who will recruit new Regular Givers to the charity in a variety of different venues using dialogue or ‘face to face’ fundraising methods.

Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)

  • Recruit, induct, train, develop, manage and monitor the performance of field based Regular Giving Team members.
  • Work closely with the Regular Giving Development Managerto set targets of supporters to recruit per month and per annum as part of an overall committed giving budget plan. To monitor performance to target and regional expenditure.
  • Attend national team meetings and training events to maintain excellent knowledge of F2F fundraising and training techniques and share this knowledge with Regular Giving Team Members through regular training, meetings and communications.
  • Undertake research to identify the best local venues where Regular Giving will take place.
  • Make approaches to decision makers to confirm promotion arrangements ensuring that the charity complies with any relevant legislation or procedures.
  • Ensure there is sufficient Regular Giving Team staffing at promotions and that the number of promotions taking place will ensure recruitment targets are achieved. Attend promotions regularly to ensure high standards of promotion work are maintained.
  • Produce a post-promotion report detailing recruitment levels achieved and ensuring that supporter details and referrals are passed to the relevant teams for processing and future management.
  • Attend regional meetings as agreed with the Heads of Community Fundraising to maintain excellent knowledge of the products being promoted by the local fundraising teams. Communicate these via regular communications to the Regular Giving Team.
  • Pilot new recruitment venues and opportunities in agreement with the Regular Giving Development Manager.
