Responsible for

Responsible for working in partnership across the Function to facilitate a learning and development platform which enables compliance of core learning associated with contract delivery and builds a strong outcomes focused learning culture.

Whilst line managers own the learning relationships for their team and individual learning this roles will assist with those accountabilities, serving as critical friend, coach and supporter.

Job Purpose

Building relationships both internal and external is critical to this role to ensure a clear understanding of the individual and team needs,to build trust and to draw learning from others so that outcomes can be achieved in a timely manner.

At the end of year one, in partnership with line managers, you will have developed a core learning framework for all activity for outcomes associated with contract requirements to ensure compliance fulfilment. In doing so you will identify synergies across front line teams identifying opportunities to maximise impact.

Working in partnership with line managers, listening to their needs and matching these with learning methods, you will deliver a Core induction process which ensure effective on-boarding and ensures new starters, feel confident and achieve their potential in the shortest possible timeframe.

To enable effective delivery of outcomes you will be responsible for sourcing, monitoring and measuring training and learning outcomes, quality and cost, recommending best practice solutions which support our desired goals.

Working in partnership with line managers you will support the coordination of attendance at external conferences to ensure value for money and maximisation of learning for the organisation.

As a seasoned learning professional, you will support and facilitate line manager and employee learning outcomes, coaching, mentoring and signpost to person centred solutions.

Working in partnership with line managers and the HR team to ensure relevant data is captured, analysed and assessed in terms of quality, value for money and impact against agreed outcomes.

Working with teams and line managers you will identify strengths within the organisations to maximise inhouse delivery of learning and training opportunities.

Personal Requirements

You will demonstrate good interpersonal skills with a natural coaching style which draws conclusions out of others.

You will have strong organisational skills and be able to process information in a methodical manner to reach the desired solutions and outcomes.

You will be a starter / finisher, working on your own initiative to achieve outcomes.

You will have a broad understanding of the housing, support, health and social care sectors to ensure learning and training is focused on best practice and meets the desired outcomes.

You will be able to build strong and trusting relationships across different teams in the organisation, balancing individual, team and business needs.
