Summary

Flow-Zone, LLC is actively searching for an experienced I & E Technician for our branch in Three Rivers, Texas. This position will consist of maintenance, repair,calibration, testing, troubleshooting and installation of I&E equipment. This position will also require regular Maintenance work, such as pre-commissioning, commissioning, repair and operations services.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of I&E equipment, power and control cable, site specific conduit, cable tray, interconnecting pneumatic tubing between process skids, metering skids, utility skids (air compressor, water pumps, chemical pumps, etc.) and well heads.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of cathodic protection systems for flow lines, pipelines and lift gas.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of engineered site grounding grids and skid / equipment grounding.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of generators (diesel, natural gas and micro turbines).
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of Fire and Gas detection / alarming.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation, Calibration, configuration, loop checks, pre-commissioning and commissioning of I&E equipment.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation Troubleshooting and maintenance of compressor control systems (relays, tattletales, Altronics,reciprocating compressors) or other failing electrical / pneumatic equipment.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation of low voltage, 120 - 480VAC, systems. These systems includes switchgear, MCC, power distribution, circuit breakers, single and three phase motors, area lighting, etc.
  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 12 – 24 VDC instrumentation including PLC, DCS, SCADA, pneumatic process controllers, ESD systems, control valves, actuators, regulators, etc., from wellhead through the dehydration process to the departing pipeline and within the Processing Plants.
  • Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting and Installation Assistance during startup and commissioning activities.
  • Work with projects group and area teams to provide I&E input on new designs and installations.
  • Availability to be on the I&E callout schedule
  • Install, maintain, program and troubleshoot ABB Totalflow RTU's, configure advanced built in application like plunger lift, valve control and gas lift.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Minor AB Controllogix PLC problems, capabilities to properly identifying problems, scoping out and securing solutions with automation team
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Wonderware and Cygnet HMI problems with capabilities to properly identifying problems,scoping out and securing solutions with automation team.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA communications from Master radio to remote well pads
  • Assist Measurement in maintaining electronic measurement equipment when advanced communications, protocols or control equipment in involved in the application.

Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience at a Journeyman level
  • College/ vocation training with emphasis in the technical field preferred but not required
  • NCCER in I & E preferred but not required
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • Able to work at heights of 50’ft +on Aerial lift
