STUDENT 4:That’s right, so let’s get to it!

(student 4 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“JINGLE BELL JUKEBOX” – ALL STUDENTS

STUDENT 5:Ok, now it’s my turn!

STUDENT 6:Alright, ______, we can start with you.

STUDENT 5:Great! I know the perfect song to play!

STUDENT 6:What is it?

STUDENT 5:It’s about everyone’s favorite snowman…

STUDENTS:(unison) Frosty!

(student 5 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“FROSTY HAND JIVE” – 2ND GRADE STUDENTS

STUDENT 7:Wow! 2nd grade sure can shake it!

STUDENT 8:Hey, are those sleigh bells I hear?

“SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN TO TOWN” – 2ND GRADE SMALL GROUP

STUDENT 9:Guys, can I pick one now?

STUDENT 10:Sure you can. What do you have in mind?

STUDENT 9:I don’t know. I can’t decide.

STUDENT 11:“Silver Bells!”

STUDENT 9:Nah. Too slow.

STUDENT 10:“Twelve Days of Christmas?”

STUDENT 9:Too long.

STUDENT 11:How about “Deck the Hall?”

STUDENT 9:Too many fa-la-la’s. I know the song that will put us all in the Christmas spirit. It is one that will be…wonderful!

(student 9 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR” – 3RD GRADE

STUDENT 12:That sure was a wonderful song.

STUDENT 13:Yeah. Can you believe Christmas is almost here? And Santa is on his way!

STUDENT 12:Have you seen all of the store displays?

STUDENT 13:Yeah. I really like all the ones with the huge reindeer.

STUDENT 12:Can you imagine reindeer landing on your housetop?

STUDENT 13:Wait. That should be our next song!

STUDENT 12:Yeah!

(student 13 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“UP ON THE HOUSETOP” – 3RD GRADE SMALL GROUP

STUDENT 14: I know what the next song should be!

STUDENT 15: Me, too!

STUDENT 14:It’s obvious… “Jingle Bells.”

STUDENT 15:No, “Jingle Bell Rock.”

STUDENT 14:But, it’s the jingle bell jukebox.

STUDENT 15:Exactly. (singing) Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock…

STUDENT 14:(interrupts, singing) Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open…

MRS. CRAIG:Hold your horses, kids. Why don’t we put them together?

STUDENTS 14 & 15: Huh?

MRS. CRAIG:Sure, it’s right there. Press D-25!

(Student 14 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

STUDENT 16:What’s that?

STUDENT 17:Jolly Old St. Nicholas. Only this time, we’re going to rock out!

“JOLLY OLD ST. NICHOLAS” – 4TH GRADE SMALL GROUP

STUDENT 18: (Looking outside) Man, it’s really snowing out there. You know what that means…

STUDENT 19:We can build a snowman!

STUDENT 20:We can go sledding!

STUDENT 21:Snowball fight!

STUDENT 22:Let’s make angels in the snow!

STUDENT 18:I was thinking we would have to shovel the sidewalk, but those things sure sound fun.

STUDENT 20:You know what’s really fun? Riding in a sleigh.

STUDENT 21:Like with a horse?

STUDENT 20:Uh-huh.

STUDENT 19:Sounds cool!

STUDENT 22:Actually, it’s cold. Freezing cold.

STUDENT 18:I bet we would really have to bundle up to stay warm.

STUDENT 20:You do, but it’s awesome with the wind blowing in your face, and the sleigh bells jingling.

STUDENT 21:Hey, that should be our next song!

STUDENT 22:Coming right up!

(Student 22 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“SLEIGH RIDE” – PRE CHOIR

STUDENT 23:Ok. Do we have any other requests?

STUDENT 24:Nothing too sappy.

STUDENT 25:Or jolly.

STUDENT 24:And nothing with mistletoe.

STUDENT 25:Or golden rings, either.

STUDENT 23:Bah humbug, Scrooge!

STUDENT 26:What’s left then?

STUDENT 27:I have an idea.

STUDENT 26:Well don’t keep us in suspense. Give us a hint.

STUDENT 27:Okay. “Every Who down in Who-ville like Christmas a lot, but the Grinch who lived just north of Who-ville…

STUDENTS:Did NOT!” (laughs, ad lib.)

(student 26 inserts a quarter into the jukebox)

“YOU’RE A MEAN ONE, MR. GRINCH” – ALL STUDENTS

STUDENTS:(ad lib.) Yeah. Me too. I had a blast!

STUDENT 29:It was really fun to do the hand jive.

STUDENT 30:And bust out some Santa songs.

STUDENT 31:I loved rockin’ out to “Jingle Bells.”

STUDENT 32:And singing about winter stuff, too.

STUDENT 33:I think even the Grinches had a good time!

(Students laugh.)

STUDENT 28:Sounds like everyone got the holiday cheer they came for!

STUDENT 29:You bet.

STUDENT 30:And it’s all because of the jingle bell jukebox!

(Students cheer and applaud.)

STUDENT 31:Come on guys, it’s time to go. (Start to leave.)

STUDENT 32:Isn’t there time for one more song?

(Looks at Mrs. Craig to double check.)
