Problem

Introducing the new food safety program means that staff will need to change some of their food handling procedures. They will need to know why there are changes, and they’ll need to know how to perform these new procedures. They need to know what forms to complete, when and how. How am I going to get all this information across to the staff?

Review

The decision tool really helped me to think through the different things I could do to help solve the problem. It made me realise that my solution involved a few strategies and that I’d need to plan how to implement these. The action plan helped me to schedule the various tasks so I could go about arranging things in an orderly way. I’m glad I had the agenda as it kept the meeting on track and we made some real progress. The minutes have been really useful as well, as it is clear from them what has to be done and who does it!
