Important dates to remember!
Oct. 11 - Faculty advisors announced to students
​Oct. 25- First faculty advisor meeting - Project Outline due
Nov. 16th- Second faculty advisor meeting - Project Proposal and planning chart due!
Jan. 11th- Third faculty advisor meeting - Project should be completed by this date with the project signed off by the person or organization you helped with your project!
Feb. 1st- Fourth faculty advisor meeting - Project presentations to faculty advisors - Advisors will be choosing the best project from their group to compete for Best in Show at the Community Fair

Feb. 8th End Reflection Phase
Feb. 22nd- Community Project Fair! All projects will be displayed during the Fair with the best projects competing for Best in Show!

Help sessions with Mrs. Jacobs or an Advisor will be held on thefollowing dates in the Media Center! There will be a sign-up sheet in your Google classroom. You must sign up to attend these help sessions!

All sessions will be on Monday afternoons and will last from

3:00 until 4:00.

Oct. 23rd - Assistance with completing first form
Nov. 6th - Assistance with project proposal form
Dec. 4th - Questions about taking action phase
Jan. 8th - More questions about the taking action phase
Jan. 29th - Assistance with pulling it all together for your presentation

Topic: Your topic should be broad.

Goal of MYP Project:(The heart of the project) ... The aim of a good goal statement is to be precise and to state something that can be achieved and verified by others!

Global Context:The Global Context, which most closely fits the project.

***Criteria/Proposal:Elements, which the student will use to assess the quality of the product/outcome of the project. These should be measurable and achievable. This is the list the faculty advisor and the student will use to judge the project!
Process:These are the steps the student will follow to reach his/her goal.
Outcome or Product:List of items the student will actually create or produce during the project!
