Title: One Film, One Scene, One Technique

Instruction:

Typea short essayof two paragraphs (five to eight sentences per paragraph) and address your comments to provide the information requested below on the essay page.

Essay:

In Assignment 1, you indicated which film so amazed you that you found it to be “magical.” Inthis Assignment 2, type a short essay of two paragraphs(one half-page, maybe a bit more only to complete a last sentence,but not less) and:

A.Select one scene from the same film which is, for you, “magical.” Be sure to include the director’s name, year of release, and other important information.

B. Describe one technique the director used that makes this scene “amazing.” (For example, we’ve highlighted some in class such as the script[1], music[2]; lighting, camera angles, color, etc.)Elaborate on this film technique with researched information and how the technique helped to make this scene “magical” or “amazing.”

The best typed essay, “double-spaced”, with standard margins,using 12 Point font and two indented paragraphs will have depth and substance utilizing researched information that is concise, precise, and to the point,[3] and is properly footnoted; if you decide to include a Works Cited page as a separate page, be sure that this section is correctly formatted.

This assignment will be evaluated based on grammar, content, and that you follow all instructions.
