Silent Prayer
After a moment of silent prayer, Chairman Karl Smith, called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call
Superintendent Young called the roll. Members present: Karl Smith, Pamela Seales,
JoAnn Rohrback, Arnold Prewitt and Eugene Peel.

Achievement and Recognition
Achievement and Recognition included:
Nathan Liversedge, West Jessamine High School, was recognized for winning the KHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Championship.
Jessica Brownfield, East Jessamine High School, was recognized for being a National Merit Finalist. This is the first time that East High has every had a National Merit Finalist.
Members of Boy Scout Troop #115 were in attendance at the Board meeting working on a Citizenship and Community Badge. Scott Seitz, Steve Bokros and Sandra Kelly are the leaders.

Construction Update
Construction Update included:
Margie Jacobs of Tate Hill Jacobs updated the Board on the renovations at Brookside Elementary and also on the progress of the Jessamine Early Learning Village Asphalt Paving project.
Dave Samokar of Clotfelter Samokar updated the Board on the Jessamine Career and Technology project.
Superintendent’s Reports
Superintendent’s Report on School Resource Officers was discussed in the work session just prior to the Board meeting.
