Coach’s Comments:

Jeff is an outstanding scorer of the basketball, with range out to the professional 3 point line. His versatility has enabled coaches to utilize him in the 1 – 4 positions throughout his career. He has been requested to, and has successfully defended opponents in all categories (1-5) and is constantly improving in this aspect of the game.

On offense, his superior shooting ability and outstanding ball handling skills make him a player other teams often attempt to focus on and defend with their best player. His length makes it difficult for teams to defend him with a guard match up. Jeff is often asked to take the pressure last second shot and has come through in most situations with a big field goal or 3 point shot to win games.

Jeff is a tireless worker that is constantly working on improving his game. All of his coaches from youth leagues through high school describe him as a great team player that listens, learns, and is a pleasure to coach.

Quote from Coach Glennon:

“When I think of Jeff Dzierzawiec, passion, discipline, and resilience come to mind. He clearly wants to practice and improve as his shooting ability suggests and the discipline needed to put in those long hours is obvious, and he is a resilient young man who did not let injury dampen this passion or take him away from the game. He is a young man who will be able to score the ball for the next two years.”
