EMRU Under 20 Head Coach
The Head Coach will lead and manage an age group coaching team and will report directly to the Chairman of the Coaching Committee of the East Midlands (CB) Rugby Development Partnership

The voluntary position provides an excellent opportunity to work with the best players in the East Midlands and offers the support of a talented coaching and administration team in an environment of shared personal development. You will have the support of the East Midlands Rugby Union Coaching Committee with specific kit and travel expenses available for the post with a two year tenure, review and re- application process
About You:
- Will lead the coaches responsible for the age group squad and coordinate player identification and squad selection supported by the Coaching team and Squad manager
- Will plan with the coaches the coaching programme for the season
- Will coordinate with the coaches the planning and preparation of the individual coaching sessions and match days
- Will evaluate all coaching sessions with the coaches; mentoring and advising where appropriate
- Will communicate consistently and constructively with the Squad Manager
- Will have a player centred approach in all contact with players, parents and staff and empathise with the age group of players recognising their needs and aspirations
- Will implement good practise in the coaching process
- Will deliver the appropriate stage of LTAD [Long Term Athlete Development]
- Will demonstrate a flexible and problem solving approach in their coaching
- Will ensure players assessment and feedback process is carried out effectively
- Will be self reflective, willing to accept advice and training to further coaching skills via the CPD programme provided by the RFU and East Midlands Rugby Union Coaching Committee
- Will be prompt and conscientious setting the standard for coaches and players
- Will hold a minimum of RFU Level 2 coaching qualification
- Will possess a current and valid enhanced CRB disclosure certificate
- Will hold a current and valid RFU Coaching License
