Dear Parents,

Congratulations on the completion of another great school year. As you begin to enjoy your summer, we are already working plans for an even more successful academic year next year and wanted to make you aware of the many exciting things planned for Sam Houston.

We are extremely excited about Sam Houston’s partnership with Digital Promise and Verizon that will allow each of our students to have their own individual iPad that includes a monthly data plan at no cost to you. As a Verizon Innovative Learning School, the student one to one iPad access will create even greater opportunities for communication between parents, teachers and administrators. We know that use of technology in the classrooms will mean that students will be able to excel at even greater levels academically. It will be important that you monitor the school’s web site this summer to receive information on how and when iPads will be distributed.

Please make note of important upcoming dates below as we prepare for dissemination of iPads as well as the enrollment process for the 2017-2018 school year.

·  Make sure that the school has the most current contact information on file.
