Masters of Science in Management (MS MGT, equivalent to MBA),1971-1972, I focused on how trends in computer-based information systems would affect operations of complex organizations. From 1993-1995 as COO at Wellmark, Inc. Westlake Village, CA, I was able to implement some of the concepts and techniques developed during my PhD studies as I managed the operation and enhancement of healthcare claims processing systems integration at 60 hospitals in California and New York.
