Your main responsibilitieswillbe
You will be partof adynamic multidisciplinary unit, where motivation, creativity, transparency and initiative are very important. You will work inour office in the Netherlands (Houten). As Java and/or Web Developer you will be responsible for theimplementation, development and maintenance of our product 'Miles'. This starts with requirements analysis to development in Java, using all the latest methods and techniques.
You will be working closely with talented analyst-developers/solution architects and business consultants inan open work environment. Together you realize a solution with focus on the end users. You will be involved intechnical innovations, the realization of new ideas and solving complex problems. You will share knowledge through constant interaction with teammates.
Yourinterests and skills
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in IT or equivalent
You are an experienced software developer. You are passionate aboutinnovative software solutions for business processesin a Java/JEE environmentand/or Web applications. You have a thorough knowledge ofJava/JEE.
As Java Developer you have experience with Databases (SQL, Oracle…) and/or Google Web Toolkit.
As Web Developer we expect a thorough knowledge ofJSP; knowledge of or experience with XML, JavaServerFaces, Primefaces is a plus.
You have a good understanding ofbusiness processes, knowledge of financial processes is a plus
Experience with ERP or financial systems is a must (e.g. SAP, JDEdwards, accounting software etc)
You are fluent in English & Dutch; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
You are creative, responsible, pragmatic & flexible and have strong analytical skills. You take initiative and are a motivated team player. You work methodical and strive continuously for result and quality.
You are prepared totraveloccasionally
