Islington Play Association is Seeking New Trustees

Islington Play Association (IPA) aims to create, improve, promote and preserve places and opportunities for the children of Islington to play. We have been campaigning for play over 40 years. IPA directly runs a children’s centre at Paradise Park, 50% of Islington’s Adventure playgrounds and in 2012 we got Islington council to agree to protect all the adventure play land in perpetuity.

We are now seeking additional Trustees with the commitment, vision and expertise to contribute to our work. The Play Association has an experienced and well rounded team of trustees and is now particularly looking to extend its knowledge and skills around the key areas of: HR, Employment Law, Business Development and Public Health.

The Trustee Board would particularly welcome applications from parents who use Paradise Park Children’s Centre and Islington’s Adventure playgrounds.

Five Trustee Board meetings are held per year in Islington, central London. Although the role is unpaid, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed!

For more details about the play association please go to: www.islingtonplay.org.uk or on Facebook at Islington Play.
