Phoenix is the ideal location for the 224th Infantry Reunion, there will be many opportunities to experience the best of Phoenix as well as ample time to catch up with your friends and family.
Hotel Information
The reunion officially begins on Wednesday, November 9thand ends on Sunday, November 13th.You will be staying at the full service Crowne Plaza Phoenix, located at 2532 W. Peoria Ave., Phoenix, AZ85029.
The Crowne PlazaHotel is ideally located close to many of Phoenix’s most popular attractions and adjacent to the Metro Center Mall which offers over 200 stores and several restaurants.
The room rate is $99.00including tax per night. The room rate includes complimentary breakfast buffet daily. For those of you who choose to arrive early or stay late, the same room rate is available 3 days before and 3 days after the official reunion dates, based on availability. In order to get this special rate you mustcall the hotel directly and ask for Nancy at the "In-House Reservation line”. You may request specific room types when you call to make your reservations (handicap accessible room, etc.). The hotel check-in time is 3:00pm; please don’t expect to get into your room before then. Make your reservations today; you can cancel up to 48 hours prior to arrival without penalty. They will ask you for a deposit or credit card number to guarantee your room reservation. The hotel is holding rooms until they sell out or October 7th, 2011, whichever comes first. Don’t delay.
Transportation & Directions
For those of you flying to the reunion, the closest airport is Phoenix International (PHX). The hotel offers complimentary shuttle transportation. When you arrive at the airport call the hotel directly at 602-943-2341 and ask for the shuttle to come to the airport to pick up you up. For those of you driving to the reunion, the hotel offers complimentary self parking for the duration of the reunion. Contact the hotel directly if you need specific driving directions.
