  • Sue reported that if we do not raise $ this year, we will have to have a fundraiser next year to keep financially stable.

  1. Need feedback from IPAC-SA from members who are not attending IPAC-SA. Why are they not attending? Need to pick 8-10 members to call & ask the question.

2.4 National Conference /
  1. IPAC- Canada Banff – Volunteer roles that are filled for the 2018 Conference. Zaheeda Jessani- Has put her name forth for the Volunteer Coordinator & Michelle Platt & Melissa Eyben are organizing the Meet & Greet. Kathryn Linton will lead the way to organize the Annual Run for IFIC. Roberta McCombie will be back-up for Kat. Two positions are still available. National Scientific Program Committee Volunteer & Fundraising Coordinator. Annie Fong would like to volunteer for the Fundraising but would like a co-chair. General volunteers that will help out where needed include- Donna Ledgerwood, Debbie Lam-Li, Jan Stoesz, Maureen Kano

Action: Heather sent an e-mail asking for volunteers to fill the available positions.
2.5 Fundraising Opportunities / Melissa Eyben- Looking for suggestions/ ideas for fundraising. Possibly have a ½ day IPAC-SA Seminar in the afternoon? That way we would just have to focus on supplying a coffee break?
Sue added that if we do not do anything this year for fundraising, we will have to do something next year to recoup the $. / Action: Melissa Eyben will send survey to members

3.1 / Executive met prior to meeting:
  • Finance
  • IPAC Canada- Banff – 2 volunteer positions available
  • Fundraising ideas- Melissa/Kris
  • President Elect- Grant Moir has come forward. Jennifer Ellison will be past president. Need to put it to a vote
  • IPAC Canada- Niagara Falls- Michelle will attend as President, Gwyneth M & Blanda Chow also attending.
  • Education sessions- Kris has a few sessions lined up
  • Newsletter- Great feedback. Melissa would like ideas for next Newsletter
  • Website updates- to be done by webmaster when a volunteer comes forward
