for the USAID-funded PL 480 Title II Development Food Aid programme called “Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture and Nutrition (RWANU)” in Karamoja
1. Concern Worldwide is a non governmental, international, humanitarian organisation dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. Our mission is to improve the living standards of people who cannot meet their basic needs by strengthening capacity to meet those needs and responding to emergency situations where necessary.
2. ACDI/VOCA and sub recipients Concern Worldwide (Concern) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH) are implementing the Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture and Nutrition in Karamoja (RWANU) program to respond to Food for Peace’s (FFP) overall strategic objective for the Title II program in Uganda: reduce food insecurity among chronically food insecure households. RWANU will focus on two strategic objectives to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations in selected sub –counties in 4 districts of Karamoja: (1) Improved availability and access to food and (2) reduced malnutrition in pregnant and lactating mothers and children under five.
3. Concern Worldwide is procuring project items as given below.
Lot 1: 1360 pieces of Branded T-Shirts –round neck for lead mothers
Lot 2: 30 pieces of Branded polo t-shirts for health promoters and educators
Lot 3: 1,480 bags for Lead mothers

5. Bids MUST be delivered, in sealed envelopes, only to the address given above at or before 10:00 am local time on 1st July 2015. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened at 02:00PM on 1st July 2015 at the address given above.
6. Concern Worldwide retains the right to accept or reject any offer/proposal prior to the award of contract and to annul the bidding process and reject all offers at any time.
