Invitation to support Ilula Orphan Program (IOP)

If you are an individual, a family group, an organization or a company that want to contribute to "New standard of living for the Tanzanian Community”, then Ilula Orphan Program is a good place to start!

Ilula Orphan Program (IOP) is a Christian outreach Non Government Organization, working to support Most Vulnerable Children in Tanzania. With help from different sponsors and donors, IOP is able to help thousands of people in the Ilula community. Ilula is one of the fast growing townships in Iringa that faces different challenges including scarcity of water, poverty, different diseases and school dropout.IOP is working to help people raise out of poverty by helping children in the Ilula community to get education. IOP began with only sponsoring five children to get education and has since then grown and been able to help thousands of children and their families. We are proud of the work we do and what we have achieved so far. The most important job IOP does is taking care of the orphan girls at the IOP centre, supporting children’s education, supporting foster families and empowering single young mothers. IOP is steadily working to become an independent economic organization through a new project called Farm for The Future which is a big step in that direction. We will in the coming years still depend on donors and sponsors from all over the world to continue with some of our works.

Different ways to support:

  1. Support one of the girls living in the orphanage, sponsor orphans living in one of the foster families, and/or support education/higher education for students
  2. Work as a volunteer for some weeks up to half a year on different subjects and levels at the IOP centre
  3. Provide a financial contribution to the Young Mother Empowerment Centre
  4. Provide a financial contribution to other IOP project with high priority
  5. Provide a financial contribution to buildings or elements in the big regional development project “Farm for the Future”, where the land is owned by IOP
  6. Take a big step to bring IOP to a sustainable future (example Farm for the Future 651 acre).
