Invitation for students to participate in a conference

Vilnius University Faculty of Economics Students’ scientific society is organizing scientific conference and inviting you to submit the scientific articles. Conference is going to take place in Faculty of Economics, 2015. November 24.

The purpose of the conference – encourage students to participate more actively in scientific activities and researches. Students are encouraged to represent their articles in relevant topics of Economics and Management sciences. Articles can be written according to bachelor paper work or final bachelor or master thesis.

Topics of the conference:

  • Economics
  • Management and business administration

There is no participation fee.

Each article will be reviewed by reviewer assigned by the conference committee. The best articles which satisfy requirements will be presented and published Students’ scientific society journal.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES

Volume –7-9 pages. The headline of the article (14pt, bold, capital letters, centred) is required to contain the following information: name (s), surname (s) of author (s), e-mail address. (12pt, Bold, aligned left)

Fonts -Times New Roman;

Margins: up and down – 20 mm, left – 35 mm, right – 15 mm;

Section (part) titles – 12pt, Bold, aligned to the left side; space between the name of the sections (parts) and text – one empty row;

Main symbols of formulas – 10pt, Italic, their indexes – 8pt, Italic; formulas are centered and numbered on the right side by Arabic numerals in parentheses; space between formulas and text – one empty row;

Titles of tables and pictures –12pt, Bold, aligned left; 1 line spacing betweentables and pictures.

Text of tables and comments under pictures and tables – 12pt, Normal, single spacing, aligned to the left side;

References to resources and literature used are presented in parentheses, giving the name, surname of the author also the years of publishing, for example, (Kohonen, 2001; Tyugu, 1998);

Reference list – Numbered list of references and quoted literature is presented at the end of the article just before the summary in the alphabetic order according to the APA bibliographic reference standards. (12pt, Normal, 1,5 line spacing, aligned left);
