Making a delicious connection between wellness, nutrition and modern dining, Naturally Peninsula cuisine offers a selection of appetisers, main courses and desserts forguests who are health-awarebut do not want to compromise on culinary finesse. Originally launched in 2006, the Naturally Peninsula range of dishes served in the group’s restaurants andon room service and spa menus around the worldhas been revitalisedas part of the new Peninsula Wellness programme.

Chef Florian Trento, The Peninsula Hotels’ Group Executive Chef, and Kim Murphy, the newly appointed Naturally Peninsula Nutrition Advisor, have created the new seasonal Naturally Peninsula recipes by working closely with the culinary teams at each Peninsula hotel. Every new Naturally Peninsula dish has been carefully crafted to complement the culinary style of the Peninsula restaurant, room service or spa menu on which it will appear.

The new Naturally Peninsula cuisineoffers guests a choice of freshly prepareddishes that combined locally and sustainably sourced ingredients, organic seasonings and homemade sauces and condiments.The Naturally Peninsulaconcept is based on a growing awareness among guests around the world about the vital connection between nutrition and mental and physical wellbeingin our daily lives.

Being mindful of the origin of each ingredient is another defining aspect of the Naturally Peninsula philosophy.A strong emphasis is placed onlocally harvested fruits and vegetables, sustainably sourced seafood, grass-fed meats, nutritious whole grains, organic spices and market-fresh herbs, while avoiding artificial flavourings, refined sugars and preservatives. Vegetarian, vegan dishes and gluten-free choices will also be served, and nutritious non-dairy substitutes can be included in some dishes upon request.

Gaddi’s French fine-dining restaurant in Hong Kong, for example, is serving a three-course Naturally Peninsula lunch, and the Naturally Peninsula team ispreparing to unveil a new Gluten-Free Peninsula Afternoon Tea selection with sugar-free jams.
