The company is following the popular business trend by experimenting with QR codes. QR or “Quick Response” codes are two dimensional barcodes that are designed to hold a vast amount of information for real time use. Using a smart phone, rental customers can now scan a QR code located inside of their rental vehicle to access a virtual web site that will provide vehicle manufacturing information, local attraction details, as well as discount and membership information for all three of our car rental brands.
Enterprise will have 1 million QR codes in over 150 different make and models within their fleet.
