A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING COMMENDATION AND SINCERE APPRECIATION TO FAYE TYLER FOR HER DEDICATED SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF OLMSTED FALLS AS A DISPATCHER IN THE OLMSTED FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, Faye Tyler was known for her dedicated service to all residents of the City of Olmsted Falls while a Police Dispatcher from September, 1993 until her retirement in October, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Faye Tyler was presented with a letter of commendation in reference to her dispatching and coordinating emergency responders during a multiple injury accident involving numerous responding departments along with air medical support (Life Flight); and

WHEREAS, Faye Tyler served as the Police Administrative Assistant, compiling and submitting department statistics to the FBI and other Ohio agencies as well as serving as a dispatcher during this period; and

WHEREAS, Faye Tyler will be missed by her Police Department colleagues, and by the other employees and residents of the City. Now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OLMSTED FALLS, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO THAT:

SECTION 1. On behalf of the Mayor, City Council, the entire administration, and the residents of the City of Olmsted Falls, do hereby express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Faye Tyler for her dedicated and valuable service to the City of Olmsted Falls as a dispatcher in the Olmsted Falls Police Department and as an outstanding resident.

SECTION 2. The Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be spread upon the records of the City of Olmsted Falls and to issue a duplicate copy of this Resolution to Faye Tyler.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect at the earliest time allowed by law.
