POLICY MANUAL

Online Financial Services (Credit Union Connect)

I.The Electronic Fund Transfer Act as described in the Membership and Account Agreement covers our Online Financial Services Credit Union Connect program.

II.The Membership and Account Agreement will accompany the Credit Union Connect Application and Agreement given to the member.

III.The applicant will need to be a member in good standing and execute an application to gain access to this service. The member will need access to a personal computer, obtain an Internet account, and use compliant software to utilize Credit Union Connect. The installation, maintenance, and operation of those items are the responsibility of the member. We are not responsible for any errors or failures of the member's computer equipment or Internet connection software. This service is available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week; however, computer maintenance or malfunctions may make the service unavailable.

IV.Services Offered

The member is able to perform the following functions with this service:

A.Check real time account balances (Shares, Share Drafts, CD's, Loans, IRA's).

B.Review account information and history.

C.Transfer funds between accounts.

D.Make loan payments.

E.View and print statements.

F.Stop payment on drafts.

G.Download posted transaction information to personal financial management software such as MS Money or Quicken.

V.The Credit Union reserves the right to refuse transactions that would draw upon insufficient funds, exceed a credit limit, lower an account below a required balance, or any transaction that would otherwise violate current Credit Union policies. The Credit Union may set other limits on the amount of any transaction, and the member will be notified of those limits.

VI.Fees

There are no fees associated with Credit Union Connect at this time. Members will be notified when required by law of any amendment to the fee schedule.

VII.Transfers

Up to six (6) pre-authorized, automatic, telephone, or Internet transfers from share accounts to another account may be made during any calendar month.

VIII.Documentation

Members will receive regular monthly and quarterly statements through the mail detailing their Credit Union Connect transactions.

IX.Security

A.A personal identification number (PIN) will be issued to gain access to Credit Union Connect. The PIN should be kept confidential and the member is responsible for safekeeping the PIN. The PIN may be disclosed to authorized third parties. The PIN issued to a joint account will be the same number for all joint owners; they are jointly and severally liable for all authorized transactions.

B.If the PIN is lost, stolen or otherwise compromised, or after filing bankruptcy, the Credit Union may revoke or refuse to grant the member access to his/her account utilizing Credit Union Connect.

C.Notice of lost, stolen or compromised codes must be in writing and sent to the Credit Union within two (2) business days.

X.Termination

The Credit Union may at any time, limit or cancel this service to a member without notice. We reserve the right to cancel access if the member has not used the service in six (6) months.

XI.Member Liability

A.If the member notifies the Credit Union within two (2) business days after learning of unauthorized access to his/her account(s) or the member’s access codes have been lost, stolen or compromised, the member is responsible for only $50.00 of the total amount of loss. If the member fails to notify the Credit Union within two (2) business days and the Credit Union can prove that the loss could have been prevented, the member's responsibility could be as much as $500.00 of the total amount of loss.

B.If the member does not notify the Credit Union within sixty (60) days after the FIRST statement is sent from the Credit Union that reflects an unauthorized transaction, the member may not receive money refunded if the Credit Union can prove that the loss could have been prevented by timely notification.

XII.Credit Union Liability

If the Credit Union does not complete a transaction on time or for the correct amount, the Credit Union will be liable for losses or damages. The Credit Union is not liable for the following reasons:

A.When Credit Union Connect is not in communication with its central computer, or other system failures.

B.If there are insufficient funds in the account to complete a transaction or a hold has been placed on the account.

C.If the funds in the account are being held as uncollected funds or pursuant to our Funds Availability Policy or if the transaction involves a loan request exceeding their credit limit.

D.If circumstances beyond our control prohibit our processing the transaction such as fire, flood, power failure or other act of God.

E.If funds in the account are pledged as collateral or frozen due to a delinquent loan.

F.If computer equipment used to conduct transactions are not working properly and the member knew or should have known when they started the transaction.

G.Any other exceptions established by the Credit Union.

XIII.Errors or Questions

A.If a member's statement or receipt is incorrect, or if the member needs more information about a transaction, the member can call the Credit Union at (701)-280-0870 or write to the Credit Union at the following address:

B.The Credit Union must be notified in writing no later than sixty (60) days after the FIRST statement is sent from the Credit Union on which the error or problem appeared. The member needs to include his/her name and account number, describe the error or problem and list the dollar amount of the error or problem in the letter.

C.The Credit Union will notify the member of the results of its investigation within ten (10) business days and correct any errors discovered. If the investigation was inconclusive, the Credit Union may take up to forty-five (45) additional days to make a complete investigation. During this time, the funds in contention will be credited to the member's account within ten (10) business days. If the Credit Union determines that there was no error, a written explanation will be sent to the member within three (3) business days and the account will be adjusted accordingly after the completion of the investigation.

XIV.Alterations or Amendments

The Credit Union may alter or amend the terms of this policy at any time. If the amendment results in greater cost or liability to the member or stricter limitations on the frequency or dollar amount of transactions, the Credit Union will give the member a thirty (30) day notice by mail.

XV.Governing Law

This agreement will be governed by and constructed in accordance with the law of the State of North Dakota, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions and any applicable Federal laws.
