bet-at.home.com was founded in 1999 as a limited liability company, and in May 2004 capital increased and the company was converted to a corporation. In December of the same year, the group went public. Further capital increases in the following years followed. Since April 2009,
bet-at-home.com AG has been a significant part of the “BetClic Everest Group” a leading French group in the field of online gaming and sports betting. bet-at-home.com AG shares are listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange having its main office in Dusseldorf, Germany. The AG holds a 100 percent stake in bet-at-home.com Entertainment GmbH. The latter has its headquarters in Linz, Austria and is mainly responsible for technology transfer within the group and for the development of in-house software.
bet-at-home.com Holding Ltd. is based in Malta where the Maltese company holds its online gaming licences for sports betting, casino and poker, issued by the Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA) of Malta.
In 2014, the UK gambling authority issued licenses to bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd. to run and distribute online sports betting and online casino games in the UK. Since August 1, 2015, bet-at-home.com is also licensed for online sports betting in Ireland. The license was granted by the Irish Government to bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd. in Malta.

In December 1999, Jochen Dickinger and Franz Ömer founded the company in Wels, Upper Austria. Three months later was launched online. The initial product offered consisted of online sports betting. Thanks to a rapid growth and innovative ideas from the online betting company, the product range expanded rapidly. In May 2000, bet-at-home.com brought the live score service, to the market. In November 2005, the online casino followed.
A year later the in-house poker platform began followed by the games section in June 2009. Since September of that same year, live betting and live streams were offered on various sports events. These are becoming increasingly popular with bet-at-home.com broadcasting on a daily basis various international sporting events, free of charge and in real time.
In October 2012, Jochen Dickinger ended his executive board activities and Michael Quatember was appointed to the board as his successor.
