Purpose & Tasks of International Tutor Students

- Taking part in preparation and consultation meeting(s) before and during Tutoring Activities (see more below)
- Carrying out tutoring activities in DPI, mainly helping incoming foreign students with arrival arrangements and accommodation
- Taking part in Welcome & Pick Up Service for international degree students with international coordinator(s) during 15 – 31 August 2011. (Monday through Friday). Purpose & Tasks of Tutor Teacher (Susanna Kujanpää):
- Assisting incoming foreign and Finnish students in adapting to their new environment and international classroom at Oulu UAS and in Oulu
- Introducing incoming foreign students to study culture etc. at Oulu UAS and in Oulu, mostly in the frame of classroom sessions (Teacher Tutor Sessions on various topics) and/or individual counselling sessions.
- Giving advice to foreign degree students during studies, collaborating with Tutor Students, Head of Degree Programme and International Coordinator etc.
