4.Information for Registration

(1) Deadline for Registration and Its Amount

(2) Those participants wishing to register early should remit the fee (in Yen) to the

After registration fees are received, we will, unfortunately, be unable to provide refunds.

(3)Registration fee covers a general free for participation, teas, the opening reception and farewell lunch, and does not include travel fares, accommodations and ordinary meals.

5.Submissionof Papers

(1)Abstractsof papers should be submitted by April 30, 2005 to the Secretariat.

(2) Abstracts should be written in English on A4 sheets and be no longer than two pages. The format for abstracts is as follows:

6.Languages and Time of Lectures

(1) Languages for presentations are in principle in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

(2) Ordinary presentations will be for twenty minutes including the time for questions and discussions.

7.Transportation

(1) From Narita Airport to the University of Tokyo, Komaba Campus by Narita Express (about 1 hour 40 minutes).

Narita (Narita Express) →Shinjuku St.(JR, Yamanote line) →Shibuya St.→Komabatodaimae St.(Inokashira line)→University of Tokyo, Komaba Campus. Don’t confuse the Komaba campus with the Hongo main campus.

(2) From Narita Airport to the University of Tokyo, Komaba Campus by Keisei SkyLiner (about 1 hour 30 minutes)

8.Accommodations

The Organizing Committee recommends the following accommodations. Booking should be made by participants.

(1) Komaba Faculty House

The Komaba Faculty House of the University of Tokyo has 12 single rooms (amount to¥5,000) and two double rooms (amount to ¥8,000 and ¥9,000).Reservationswill be possible after April 2005 through the secretariat.

(2) Komaba Eminence

Or, contact the Hotel Komaba Eminence (amount to ¥8,316- ¥8,547, including 10% service charge and 5% tax. They do not accept traveler’s check.). The Komaba
