Lithuanian Blind Sports Federation has a pleasure to invite your visually impaired judo athletes to take part in the International Judo Tournament and Training Camp for Blind & Visually Impaired, which will take place in Vilnius,Lithuania, on July22 - 26, 2016.

PROGRAMME

July 22 (Friday) – Arrival, weigh-in, technical meeting

July 23 (Saturday) - Competition

July 24 - 25 (Sunday, Monday) – Training camp

July 26 (Tuesday) - Departure

Invited countries: All IBSA countries.

Competition regulations: The Tournament will follow IBSA Judo and IJF rules.

Awards.The awarding ceremony will take place right after the team competition in the sports hall.

The winners of the first three places in the individual events (in each weight category) will be awarded medals of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree respectively to the ranking.

Three teams taking the first three places in the team competition will be awarded cups of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree - accordingly to the ranking.

Referees. We welcome Judo referees (1 referee per country coming along with their teams) to referee some games during the tournament. We commit to cover their accommodation and meals during the invitational period.

Competition place. Competition will take place in “Sportima” Universal Sports Arena. Address of the arena is: Azuolyno str. 5, Vilnius.

Accommodation and meals.Teams will be accommodated in the double and triple bedrooms of the Hotel “Europa Stay” in Vilnius, Azuolyno str. 7. Meals will be served in the cafeteria of the Hotel.

Entry fee: The fee is 300 Euro per person per the invitational period (competition and training camp) in double or triple room, and additionally10 Euro per person per day in single room. The fee includes participation fee, accommodation, meals from dinner on Friday (July22) till breakfast on Tuesday (July26).

If sportsmen wish to take part only in competition, the fee is 200 Euro per person in double or triple room, and additionally 10 Euro per person per day insingle room. The fee includes participation fee, accommodation, meals from dinner on Friday (July 22) till breakfast on Sunday (July 24).

Transportation fee. On request, teams arriving to the Vilnius airport / train or bus station will be provided with the ground transportation to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport / train or bus station after the competition for the price of 20 Euro per team (not more than 8 persons).

Additional stay. If you wish to come earlier or depart later than indicated in the invitational period, you will have to pay additionally: Extra bed breakfast per person - 25 Euro, extra lunch/dinner – 15 Euro.

Visas. Countries whose citizens require visas to enter the Republic of Lithuania are kindly requested to contact the nearest (or most convenient one for you to travel to) diplomatic mission and consular post of Lithuania for visa issues.

If any team needs official invitation from Lithuanian Migration Department, it has to transfer invitation fee of 5 Euro per person to Lithuanian Blind Sports Federation’s account before June 1, 2016.

Payment: 30% of the entry fee should be paid by bank transfer before June 1, 2016 to the following Lithuanian Blind Sports Federation’s account:
