ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Elementary Art (Grades Pre-1-5):

Due to the need for very specific supplies – there will be a small art fee due in the fall. The Art teacher will then provide the supplies for the students. There is no need to purchase items before school begins. More information will be available in August. We hope that this makes it simpler for you.

Elementary Music (Grades Pre-1-5):

Pre 1st

Please label all supplies with your child’s name and put into a large grocery sack.

-  Backpack with name on the inside (large enough to fit an A4 folder)

-  4 glue sticks - Pritt brand is the best (not the liquid kind)

-  2 bottles of white, liquid glue (if available)

-  1 pair of safety scissors

-  2 Pencil bags (one for crayons, the other for pencil, scissors, eraser, glue sticks)

-  Several high quality pencils

-  1 large eraser

-  1 A-4 folder (the thin kind of folder, with elastic band closures)

-  3 boxes of Kleenex

-  1 package of modeling clay (assorted colors)

-  1 set of Koh-I-Noor water color paints

-  Indoor shoes (please send non-black soles)

-  2 “Emergency” snack items (such as a bag of pretzels or crackers)

I will purchase Crayola markers and crayons in America as I can get them at a really good price.

If you are unsure of what to get, you can wait until our orientation or the first day of school and I will show you. I will have things the students can use the first week.

1st Grade:

Please send your child to school with 4000HUF to cover the costs of school supplies. I will purchase all that they need for the year (pencils, erasers, glue, crayons, folders, tissues etc.) and will distribute these items as I see fit. Please do not purchase any supplies for your child, with the exception of these items:

-  scissors; rounded tips (Good Brand: Fiskars)

-  pencil case (best is a soft pouch that zips closed)

-  indoor shoes with non-marking soles that are suitable for PE (DO NOT purchase shoes with laces unless your child can easily tie-up and untie these shoes as they will be changing shoes multiple times throughout the day)

Please do not bring anything but these items and the requested money. Thank you for your cooperation.

2nd Grade:

-  2 lined notebooks, A5 size

-  3 folders, A4 size- label: home, desk, writing

-  12-24 pencils (Faber-Castell or Stabilo are preferred)

-  1 personal small pencil sharpener

MIDDLE SCHOOL

6th Grade:

General: 1 mediium 4-ring binder (approximately 5 cm thick) to be used for all of the classes (We will provide the dividers), lined paper, pencils, pens, colored pencils, material for book covering

Math: Everyday your child will use 2 size A4 graph paper spiral notebooks, one for homework and one for class notes. Calculator, protractor, ruler with cm’s and inches (if possible)

Science: Colored pencils

English: A5 composition notebook

Geography: Large spiral notebook for taking notes and assignments, blue/ black pen, mechanical pencil.

Christian Studies: Journal, Bible-NISV, NASB, Holy Bible STUDY recommend for this class, Note cards (3X5)

Hungarian: 1 A5 lined notebook, 1 A4 folder

ELL Students: Eraser, 1 small notebook with lined pages (approx. 14 cm X 20 cm),
